Dear Investors,
This is to inform that the SEBI vide its circular SEBI/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2023/37 dated March 16, 2023 has amended the Common and simplified norms for processing investor’s service requests by RTAs and norms for furnishing PAN, KYC details and Nomination which shall be applicable with effect from April 01, 2023 in supersession of the following circulars issued by SEBI:
To enhance the ease of doing business, SEBI has mandated following norms:-
Note: The holders of physical securities of the Company are mandatorily required to furnish the following documents / details to the Integrated Registry Management and Service Private Limited (“Company’s RTA”):
Investors are required to submit form ISR-1 to the Company’s RTA for updating PAN and other KYC details.
In case of mismatch in the signature of the holder in the records of Company’s RTA, the investor shall furnish original cancelled cheque and banker’s attestation of the signature as per the form ISR-2.
Investors are requested to ensure the above details are updated with Company’s RTA before December 31, 2023, The folios wherein any one of the cited document/details as mentioned above are not available on or after January 01, 2024, shall be frozen by the RTA
Investors shall continue to use form SH-13 and SH-14 as per Companies Act, 2013 for declaration of nomination and change in nomination respectively. However, in case investor wants to opt-out of nomination, form ISR-3 shall be filed.
Issuance of Securities in dematerialized form in case of Investor Service Requests:
SEBI vide its circular no. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD_RTAMB/P/CIR/2022/8 dated January 25, 2022 has made mandatory for issuance of Securities in dematerialized form for the following investor service request:-
The securities holder/claimant shall submit duly filled up form ISR-4 along with the documents/details specified therein as per the said circular.
